U.S. Marines compete during the High Intensity Tactical Training Installation Challenge at Paige Field House on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Nov. 19, 2020. Students with the Assault Amphibian Vehicle Commander Course, Assault Amphibian School, conduct mounted land navigation training in the Oscar Two Training Area on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, July 22, 2020. The Vehicle Commander Course is used to train intermediate level Marines on the responsibilities of an AAV commander, with a focus on crew gunnery, direction and supervision. Effective March 16, the Del Mar housing gate and Wire Mountain Pass and ID Office will close until further notice. Remaining PMO Service Offices will be reduced to mission essential personnel. Effective immediately, the Camp Pendleton Base Brig is enacting its communicable disease and infection control plan to minimize the possible transmission of COVID-19 within the facility.
