Camp Pendleton Capabilities
Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton was established in 1942. The base is home to I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), 1st Marine Division, I MEF Information Group, 1st Marine Logistics Group, and other Navy units. MCB Camp Pendleton supports today’s fight and prepares for tomorrow’s threats. MCB Camp Pendleton is a superior Marine Corps training base expanding training opportunities, maximizing allocated resources, modernizing base infrastructure and providing superior service and support. MSTEP Program Premieres on Camp Pendleton
Camp Pendleton hosted BMW automobile company, in partnership with the Universal Technical Institute for the grand opening of its first Military Service Technician Education Program (MSTEP) workshop here on Camp Pendleton, Calif., February 15, 2018. The program provides service members with deep hands-on interactive training in a workshop environment to assist service members transitioning out of the armed forces to give them a career opportunity in the civilian world. February 19th marks the 73rd anniversary of the battle of Iwo Jima, which lasted from Feb. 19, 1945 to March 26, 1945.
