The Commandant signs off on fitness awards
U.S. Marine Corps Gen. Robert Neller, 37th Commandant of the Marine Corps, authorized both the Dual 300 Award and Force Fitness Unit Award in July, 2018. In order to receive the Dual 300 Award, a Marine must score 300 on both the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Combat Fitness Test (CFT), while the Force Fitness Unit Award goes to the unit with the highest, combined fitness score average. These awards give Marines with exemplary PFT and CFT scores recognition for their fitness. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Emmanuel Necoechea)
