U.S. Marines and family members kick off the Tails and Trails 4k walk, at Lake O’Neill aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif, Jan. 27, 2018.This is Camp Pendleton’s 3rd year hosting the dog walk, intended to promote fitness, healthy lifestyles and pet responsibility. U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton hosted a ceremony to donate a service puppy to 16-year old Chris Simpson, who is the son of a Camp Pendleton Marine, May 18, 2016. James and Catherine Skoor donated the puppy after they met Chris and his family while volunteering in a dog therapy program at the Seattle Children's Medical Hospital.
