On October 9th 2017, motorcycle riders should be prepared to physically show their Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) approved Basic Rider Course (BRC) credentials to Camp Pendleton gate sentries. All motorcycle riders will be checked as they enter the base. A delay in presentation of the credentials to the sentry will effect traffic, so riders are encouraged to have their BRC card readily available along with photo I.D. The Motorcycle Mentorship Program (MMP) is a series of courses that military motorcycle riders are required to take to ride their bikes on and off base. The course is mandatory for both new and veteran motorcyclists.
