Marine Corps Installations West

Camp Pendleton and Family Housing leadership will be hosting a series of housing briefs to discuss military housing information and concerns at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The briefs will provide base housing residents an opportunity to meet with Family Housing leadership, learn about new Department of the Navy/Public Private Venture housing initiatives, develop a better understanding of the organization and an open space for any questions or concerns.

U.S. Navy Commander Richard Contreras, public works officer, Marine Corps Installations West provides an update on the bridging progress over a sinkhole in Carnes Road at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Feb. 5, 2019. Public works, alongside U.S. Marines with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group responded to the road collapse by constructing a girder bridge used for emergency vehicle access to the affected areas, as well as excess water removal from the sinkhole.
