Chief John Crook, Camp Pendleton Fire Department deputy chief, speaks on Marine Corps Installations-West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton's concept of preparedness, response and effort in the event of a wildfire on base or its surrounding communities. U.S. Marines and family members kick off the Tails and Trails 4k walk, at Lake O’Neill aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif, Jan. 27, 2018.This is Camp Pendleton’s 3rd year hosting the dog walk, intended to promote fitness, healthy lifestyles and pet responsibility.
