Service members graduate from the Military Service Technician Education Program at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, June 15, 2018. The nine graduates learned technical automotive skills and knowledge about workshop safety, engines, suspension systems, and electrical systems during the 16-week training iteration. Camp Pendleton hosted BMW automobile company, in partnership with the Universal Technical Institute for the grand opening of its first Military Service Technician Education Program (MSTEP) workshop here on Camp Pendleton, Calif., February 15, 2018. The program provides service members with deep hands-on interactive training in a workshop environment to assist service members transitioning out of the armed forces to give them a career opportunity in the civilian world.
